k

heres a shot of me on my black n white board with the lines going all over the place...that thing was a blast to take out...i was kinda worried that it would suck at noseriding since i have been riding my new gnarly noserider exclusively (as far as longboarding) since i finished it....but but it noserid soo well i had a blast super fast trim on the tip and some nice turns...that board is sick...got a bunch of noserides across some nice long sections

hey man those are my shoes

so i got some more work done on Jeffs log today,,,heres one side of his abstract fin i did for him,,,this board is gunna be soo nice when its done,,,,tomorrow ill sand it for gloss and get the logos and pinlines on it.

round tail quad go zoom

this is round tail quad i just finished up for myself...i wanted something in my quiver that has a little more jive in the below head high. this board is 5'6" 20" 2.5"....im really excited to try this bad girl out it came together really easy and nice....the bottom has flat entry to single concave under the chest to spiral vee starting just before the fins with the last 3 or so inches being flat...the deck is scooped out for lower center of balance (shred harder easier) the rails go from 60/40 nose to more modern shortboard esque rail in the middle and edge out the tail. im gunna glass this one light and MOSTLY clear...it gunna be hot literally. allsooo the double stringers offset soo far obviously looks cool but it gives the board some flex on the ends=gives into turns and drives out of turns.

I lammed the bottom of Jeff's pintail log,,,,and god damn you should get excited,,,im not going to post pictures of the board until it is complete,,,but you should get really excited,,,,also you should buy one cause,,,,its half the price of a more standard glassed log but sure as hell isnt half the quality at all...aloha dood

popouts, but uhming, not from china

I am experimenting with making molded fins, and here is one of the halves of a mold i made for my raked noserider/log fin. It opens a whole new aesthetic realm, will be much much less wasteful considering my glassons are almost always custom basis to the board, should offer unique flexes and control of how it flexes, and should be much stronger,,,because when you make a fin panel, it is tons of layers of fiberglass laminated on top of eachother, but the problem is that you have to use sanding resin so that way it is even possible for you to sand and foil the panel into a fin, and the thing with that is that when you glass the fin on,,,the resin is bonding to the scratches left behind from you or whoever foiling the fin,,,,with the mold i can make the fin out of laminating resin,,,and with that when i glass the fin on the resin will be chemically bonding and will be much stronger...................also having the molds allows me to more easily make fins for fin systems (FCS, Future).....although i know how to make fin system fins it is such a pain to get everything to fit perfect.......... ....Jeff whom i just made the 6'2" green biscuit is going to be the first one to get one of my molded fins on his log which i will be shaping tomorrow,,,,his board is gunna be rad

for jeff

This is a 6'2" x 21.5" x 3" egg/ biscuit/ pill i did for jeff, he had a similar 5'8" board that he wanted to add some length and volume to, so this is my rendition of it...it has low fish rocker, i kept the board really full, the deck is nearly completely flat and then did a down rail to keep the immediate, outside inch of the rail not too chunky, the rails are turned up some in the nose and quickly drop down with a hard edge going out the tail, the bottom has a very short hulled entry going to flat and then transitioning to spiral vee out the back 3rd. he got a green tint on both sides and sanded gloss finish. this thing is pretty rad. he also ordered a log which will be down in a week or 2, his log is gunna be super rad,,get excited
