jeffs speed shape

this is an 8'3" 21 3/4" 2 7/8"....wide point a bit forward with a curvey tail line..jeff wanted a board for when it gets head high and over. this board allows him to blow through the crowded peaks with early wave entry and ultra speed foil and rocker. this board is going to be a three fin and the rails are about 40/60 at the nose that flow down to a more modern shortboard rail with little more bite on the bottom with a lot of edge in the tail...the bottom is flat entry with mellow single concave to Spiral vee starting quite a bit ahead of the fins to flat off the tail. there is a bit of kick in the nose for those late take offs and tight cuts in critical sections...the single concave gives the board some stability and keeps the board on the wave and also gives you some lift while also flattening out the bottom rocker for superior trim,,,then the spiral vee being pushed forward allows for easier rail to rail transition without having to be on the tail block and gives you tons of drive through your turns,,just rocketing. the rail has a nice thickness to it too not chunky at all but not too crazy pinched where you get to catch rail your whole session...this thing is gunna fly stoked on it...jeff will love it.....also its get some crazy color work got another experimental lamination for the bottom of this bad girl.

double step deck ready

9'6" 23" 3" double step deck....this board is gunna get test run for a week or so like this and then i am going to put carbon fiber where the steps in the deck are to see how that goes....the tail is foiled really thing and with the stringers being as wide as they are the last 10 or so inches of the tail have no stringer and i want to see the difference in the flexes and done want a limp flimsy flex at all soo we ll see...but yea so this board is made for hot dog loggin slashing turns with on overall more pinched rail and reall thin in the tail the steps in the deck allow for reduced swing weight=easier turning and for flex..there are no logos because i dont want to put them on then sand them off when i do the carbon and put them there again. this board also has a lighter glass job 6+6 deck 4+4 bottom it still has green weight foam so its solid,,,i like the feel of this weight a lot for a more "progressive" style log
carbon flex fin i did up for this bad girl..should give it a springier flex,,little more umpff out of your turns.
bottom,,,,blended concave to a tight belly with flat off the tail for positive direction change

for jake

Here is the finished thruster for jake,,,sanded this bad girl at 4 in the morning...so its 6'1" 19.5" wide 2.25" thick...its got a more relaxed rocker for versatility as a go to board. has a standard shortboard rail but i did leave the tail slightly fuller so he could spend more time surfing and less time bobbing around also it allows for more release which for the the smaller waves that we generally get around here will be really helpful in preventing the rail for catching......it has flat entry to single concave under the chest and out the tail...got super thrasher custom glass on fins i did for it...carbon rail savers and carbon Inca pyramid front foot patch for ultra stomping...uhm sanded finish....theres a leash plug on it,,its black ya i think thats just about all the main things...came out pretty fricken nice especially considering i dont really do them....also i am well aware the rail carbon is all crooked im not perfect and now i know not to be soo dumb next time

another way to late of a night at work

i shaped and lammed this bad girl today and night...i also hotcoated and sanded up jakes thruster which i will post photos of tomorrow...this log right here is a double step deck made for hot doggin...the tail is foiled realll thin and the board has overall pretty pinched rails..the nose isnt soo pinch though cause its nice having that release up there when you re on the tip or burying it in the foamies..it gunna be super fun and im reall excited thats why im going to bed at 4 in the morning to get it done sooner than later,,,,its allsoo gunna get some high tech materials thrown on it for ultra progressive logging.....i hotcoated a bunch of other boards too for work today its not like it took me 16 hours to do like 4 steps on some boards...well good night
